Lady Gaga Announces Launch of Her Own Makeup Brand
Lady Gaga is a total force in the fashion and beauty industry. Not only is the 33-year old performer a fearless fashionista who transforms her look on a dime, but she also has amassed quite a glam empire for herself. For example, she has a wildly successful collection her own fragrances, including Fame and Eau de Gaga. Now, the artist has announced the exciting debut of Haus Labs, her very own beauty brand created exclusively with Amazon.
“They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but at Haus Laboratories we say beauty is how you see yourself,” Gaga announced in a surprise video post.
In timing with her launch, the pop icon opened up to fans about her own personal makeup and beauty journey. Her own story is influencing the products she creates.
“When I was young, I never felt beautiful. And as I struggled to find a sense of both inner and outer beauty, I discovered the power of makeup,” the artist shared on her Instagram. “I remember watching my mother put her makeup on every morning, basking in the glow of her power to put on her bravest face as the hard working woman she was. I then began to experiment with makeup as a way to make my dreams of being as strong as my mother become true.”
Lady Gaga’s new beauty brand, Haus Labs, will premiere online on July 15, and launch globally soon.

The star shared that curating and adopting her on-stage persona helped her shape precisely who she is.
“It was then that I invented Lady Gaga. I found the superhero within me by looking in the mirror and seeing who I wanted to be,” she wrote. “Sometimes beauty doesn’t come naturally from within. But I’m so grateful that makeup inspired a bravery in me I didn’t know I had. I’ve come to accept that I discovered my beauty by having the ability to invent myself and transform. They said I was just weird, but really, I was just Born This Way.”
Juding by Gaga’s early first-look imagery, it looks like we can expect lip colors, eyeshadows, and more bold shades. We’re looking forward to seeing what kinds of colorful and shimmering products she includes in her debut collection!
