When you dream about what you will be wearing on your wedding day, what are some of the descriptions that come to mind? Do you want to look romantic? Enchanting? Modern? Traditional? The Carolina Herrera Spring 2020 Bridal collection, which made its grand debut during this April season of New York Bridal Fashion Week, has something for all of those tastes and more, with a beautiful line that consists of regal bridal gowns and chic pants suits.
Each of these charming pieces will appeal to a bride who wants some traditional elements with her on her big day, but the collection’s goal was to “lighten up” bridal garments to make them less stiff and stuffy than the fussy gowns of eras past.
“Joyful and pure in spirit, the Spring 2020 collection celebrates modern elegance with unstructured ease,” the bridal brand shared on its website. Creative Director Wes Gordon realizes a romantic dream of hidden details, designed for a woman in motion. The Carolina Herrera atelier, classically trained in haute couture, brings the meticulous attention signature of the House, to seventeen gowns with the fresh attitude of lightness—a theme translated through each name, beginning in ‘L’.”
“Immaculate construction is refreshed with grand proportions, shaking things up in just the right way, maintaining a sincerity to the Carolina Herrera heritage,” the brand added.
