Ashley Graham Joins the Fierce Models of Revlon’s Beauty Campaign
Ashley Graham has officially scored her first-ever beauty contract, and it’s a major deal! The model stars alongside newly-revealed brand ambassadors Adwoa Aboah, Imaan Hammam, Rina Fukushi, Achok Majak, and Raquel Zimmermann in Revlon‘s diverse and dazzling new “Live Boldly” ad campaign. (You may recall that Wonder Woman actress Gal Gadot was also recently named part of this epic project.)
“At Revlon, we have always believed that beauty is about celebrating the expression, inspiration and aspiration of women around the world,” Revlon’s president and CEO Fabian Garcia shared in a statement. “Revlon’s ‘Live Boldly’ platform allows us to deepen our support of all women and serves as a catalyst for positive change. Our new Global Ambassadors exemplify strength and beauty, each making a substantive difference in the world.”
Ashley Graham is particularly proud of her involvement in Revlon’s empowerment mission.
“I am thrilled to be part of this timely and groundbreaking campaign with different types of women across races, ages and sizes, and to leverage this platform to continue to create positive change,” she shared in a press statement. “To ‘live boldly’ is the mantra of my life. Every day in the mirror I say to myself, ‘I am bold, I am brilliant, I am beautiful,’ and together with Revlon, we can inspire all women to do the same.”
We can’t believe it has taken this long for a beauty brand to snap up Ashley – after all, she was among the highest-paid and most popular models in the industry in 2017. But it’s something she is very proud to now be a part of.
“Historically, curvy girls are not given beauty contacts,” she also told WWD. “It’s kind of groundbreaking, because in my generation of models, this hasn’t happened yet. This is one of those moments where I’m over the moon, I cried a little.”
