Do you dream about walking down the aisle in a princess-worthy ballgown – or are stylish rhinestone-studded satin dress pants more your speed? The Viktor & Rolf Spring 2020 Bridal collection, “Mariage Spring/Summer 2020,” is all about a variety of standout silhouettes. The new season, debuted during this April’s New York Bridal Fashion Week, mixes masculine and feminine styles to create a fresh and modern take on bridalwear.
Together, the line shows off a mix of trending bridal jumpsuits, elaborate tulle, gorgeous and impeccably draped styles, carefully-constructed bodices, white satin slacks, and crystal- and floral-studded embroidery. The avant-garde luxury fashion house’s Mariage collection also introduces some new fabric choices into the Viktor & Rolf Bridal repertoire, including lurex jersey and mikado.
As fashion-forward and modern as the designs themselves are, Viktor & Rolf has taken a look back in time for its latest lookbook styling. The photos presented by the fashion brand are reminiscent of the 1980s glamour shot portraits we always saw hanging in our mom’s home. We love the studio backdrops and soft lighting, retro accessories, and throwback hairstyles, which all give this innovative new collection a vintage vibe!
