The circus is in town in a big way this holiday season. Not only are many brands celebrating the upcoming Barnum & Bailey-inspired movie The Greatest Showman with their designs, but bold colors and playful inspirations are everywhere in fashion right now. Enter: the new Tod’s Circus holiday line to shake things up.
Tod’s has collaborated with stylist and Vogue Japan Creative Director Anna Dello Russo for their 2017 Christmas capsule collection. The fashion journalist is known for her colorful street style aesthetic, and her influence is evident in this special edition launch. As part of this whimsical and imaginative leather goods collection, you can find items decked out to look like circus performers, clowns, elephants, and ring masters.
The inspiration is evident everywhere. Bold primary colors, luxurious textured detailing, and entertaining patterns adorn the latest release of Tod’s handbags, keychains, shoes, phone cases, and more. Clown hair comes to life with festive pom pom puffs, while glittering details make trapeze artists’ eyes sparkle.
Items in the Christmas collection range in price from $425 to $3,145.
These accessories are now available online and in Tod’s boutiques. The collection launch, co-hosted by model Barbara Palvin, took place yesterday in the Tokyo Tod’s location, where the entire store was turned into a balloon-filled circus tent.
If you want the experience of visiting the circus yourself, know that Tod’s Circus pop-up stores will soon be taking over the brand’s Milan, Paris, Shanghai, Beijing, Hong Kong, Singapore, Dubai, and Kuwait retail locations. Talk about a fun holiday event!
