Tiffany & Co. Collaborates with Globe-Trotter on Limited Edition Luggage Collection

Are you ready to travel in style with Tiffany & Co.’s latest luggage collaboration? That’s right, Tiffany has just revealed its newest addition to the Tiffany Blue family, but this time with a vintage spin. Tiffany has teamed up with Luxury lifestyle brand, Globe-Trotter, to give you a one-of-a-kind six-piece travel assortment. The assortment consists of one jewelry case, one vanity case, and four trolley cases in a variety of sizes, resulting in combined luxury and craftsmanship that both Tiffany & Co. and Globe-Trotter are known for.

“Globe-Trotter suitcases combine a uniquely strong, yet lightweight functionality with an iconic aesthetic,” according to the brand’s site. “As a case travels the world it develops a unique character, continually improving with age. The leather collections adhere to the same core values that define the brand’s luxury spirit, drawing on a rich historical archive and the same handcrafted approach to production.”

Since Globe-Trotter pieces are handcrafted by highly-skilled artisans, it’s no surprise that Tiffany would team up with such a distinct brand. (Remember the label’s past designer collaborations with other iconic brands, such as Alexander McQueen?) Tiffany & Co. takes the ordinary everyday items and turns them into something extraordinary.

The six-piece travel collection is an array of the many items featured in the all-new Home & Accessories collection. The luggage is made in England, with a Tiffany Blue vulcanized fiberboard and leather trimming. It features double lock closures with keys, leather buckle fastening straps, two wheels, a pull handle, and for the jewelry and vanity case a combination lock closure. Tiffany’s recent accessories collection shows that beautiful things should not be limited to special occasions. Luxury can be put in the everyday items and it makes them that much more special.

“I think what makes the collection unique is that it incorporates the best quality, craftsmanship and design with a level of functionality that allows you to use these things every day,” Reed Krakoff, chief artistic officer at Tiffany & Co., says about the partnership.
