Tiffany & Co. Opens Blue Box Café

We’ve all dreamt of living out Audrey Hepburn’s famous opening scene in the film Breakfast at Tiffany’s, as she eats a croissant with a cup of coffee in hand in front of the Tiffany & Co. store in New York City. Something about her manner and style just made it one of the most glamorous and desirable moments one can have in the city.

If you’ve been fantasizing about having an experience like Ms. Holly Golightly, then you’re in luck! Tiffany and Co revealed the highly anticipated remodeling of the fourth floor at its Fifth Avenue flagship location, which includes The Blue Box Café, the first ever retail-dining concept. Not only can you shop around for the most beautiful gifts, but you can brunch there too! This floor also holds Tiffany’s new luxury home and accessories collection, sterling silver hollowware, vintage books by Assouline, and a Tiffany fragrance laboratory.

“Both the café and redesign of the Home & Accessories floor reflect a modern luxury experience,” said Reed Krakoff, chief artistic officer, Tiffany & Co. “The space is experimental and experiential – a window into the new Tiffany.” Seems like a model of opulence and charm.

The space is as welcoming as the food is inspiring all while overlooking a view of Central Park. They aim to serve all customers, especially those who have always dreamt of having Breakfast at Tiffany’s.

“The striking interior décor incorporates industrial details that evoke Tiffany’s craftsmanship and heritage. Playful and unexpected touches sit harmoniously alongside elegant finishes like herringbone marble and amazonite stone, reflecting the new Home & Accessories collection’s emphasis on everyday luxury.” We can’t wait to visit and live out our Tiffany dreams!
