Starbucks Unveils Black and White Mocha Drink Menu for New Year’s
Christmas may have already passed, but did you think Starbucks was done unveiling creative new winter beverages? No way! The popular coffee chain has just announced an exciting – and totally Instagrammable – new 3-part drink series for New Year’s. It’s called the Starbucks Black and White collection, and we bet you’ll want to try a sip of each immediately!
“The New Year is a time to celebrate,” Starbucks beverage development team member Erin Marinan shared. “The Black and White Mocha collection is a festive way to ring in 2018, with a stripe of sparkly chocolate sequins to resemble a black tie.”

Starbucks Black and White Mocha
First up, there’s the Starbucks Black and White Mocha. This delicious treat consists of “hot espresso is poured over dark mocha sauce and white chocolate mocha sauce, which is then melted into a wonderfully rich concoction,” according to the brand’s menu page. “Steamed milk is added to this silky swirl of dark mocha and white chocolatey goodness to balance the richness. The beverage is topped with whipped cream and a sprinkle of sparkly chocolate sequins. Customers can enjoy it hot or iced.”
Starbucks Black and White Hot Cocoa
Who doesn’t love a sweet hot chocolate during the coldest winter months? For this new Starbucks cocoa, “dark mocha sauce and white chocolate mocha sauce are combined with steamed milk to create rich swirls,” the brand explained. “It’s finished with whipped cream and chocolate sequins.”

Starbucks Black and White Mocha Frappuccino
If you can’t get enough Starbucks Frappuccinos in your life, you’ll love testing out the iced frap version of this mocha collection. “The blended beverage is a delicious combination of dark mocha sauce, white chocolate mocha sauce, Frappuccino roast coffee, milk and ice blended together,” the brand shared. “It’s topped with whipped cream and chocolate sequins.”
All of these limited-edition drinks will be available at select Starbucks stores in the United States and Canada, now through the first week of January.
