New York Fashion Week is hands-down the most exciting style showcase to go down seasonally in NYC. But with so many designers participating in the twice-yearly across the metropolitan area, it’s easy to get overwhelmed by all the beautiful collections out there. To get you up to speed on the best-of moments from the September 2018 NYFW adventures of the Richard Magazine staff, we are sharing an exclusive recap video documenting our experiences.
Throughout the course of this Spring/Summer 2019 New York Fashion Week season, our editors, videographers, photographers, and stylists journeyed to a full schedule of shows: from Style Fashion Week to Nolcha Shows, NYFW The Shows, and more. The team even journeyed backstage to score trendsetting beauty tips straight from makeup artists and hairstylists as they worked on the shows’ models.

This season, Nolcha Shows exhibited fine indie labels like ACID NYC, Amnesia by Eva Prokai, Aranyani, Hathairat, Kaven Liu Dimor, and the Canadian student collective Vitruvius. At Fashion Palette‘s runway showcase, our team was introduced to 10 incredible designers and labels from Australia, including Bronx & Banco, Elliatt, Saski Collection, Elle Zeitoune, Jagger & Stone, Santina-Nicole, The Blonde Republic Harvey the Label, NNCY, Avery Verse, and DA by Daniel.
Meanwhile, Style Fashion Week showcased several days’ worth of runway shows, including a variety of fun labels like Marco Marco, Smock Me, Adriana Sahar, Yas Couture by Elie Madi, Richard Hallmarq, Emma Altman, Father Akki, Rocky Gathercole, Hirun Bangkok, and many more. We were so impressed by all of the statement-making styles to hit the runways across Manhattan this season – and we can’t wait for many of these pieces to officially become shoppable.
