Hot off the heels of her sell-out custom Phenom Lux shoe design launch, Selena Gomez has been named the face of another hot athletic wear launch: this time, for the new Puma Defy sneakers. The 25-year-old singer and actress debuted her campaign imagery, where she is rocking spring-ready illusion leggings, a sunny yellow sports bra, and cool mesh crop top with her edgy black and white lace-ups.
“To defy is to be brave” Selena shared about the shoe and its accompanying campaign. “It’s about pushing the envelope and not obeying any ‘expectations’ placed on you by society. Puma has captured this feeling perfectly with their new Defy training shoe. I remind myself daily the importance of defying the outside noise and being true to myself.”
These Puma Defy sneakers will be released at Puma retailers worldwide on May 31, 2018.
In addition to all the excitement surrounding this launch, Selena is upgrading fans’ experiences on this one by giving them a chance to meet her at a Puma campaign celebration. To get involved, Los Angeles-based fans are encouraged to download the Puma Defy App for iOS, which will help you locate special promotional posters hanging throughout the city to snap photos of and upload them directly to the application.
Those who participate will be entered to win an entrance to the Defy City Experience in California on May 16, where selected winners will also get to meet Selena in person.
