Selena Gomez is back to reprise her role as the face of Coach, and her new campaign is more stunning than ever! The brand’s Spring 2018 collection is all about a tribute to New York City – and the work of the late artist Keith Haring. Selena finds herself right at home in the inspiring and artistic setting, modeling sparkly accessories, breathtaking slip dresses, and crave-worthy leather handbags.
“Creative Director Stuart Vevers makes New York feel like a town, a real community,” Selena shared about this campaign in a press statement. “It just feels like this is where the brand really lives.”
The pop star also shared that she was thrilled to work with photographer Steven Meisel on this photo shoot.
“The first time I walked on set I was a little nervous; I can get a little intimidated,” she said about her experience. “But he’s genuinely the sweetest, purest person. There are never a lot of people around, and it’s very intimate. It’s beautiful.”
“The Coach girl is real—she’s riding the subway or, this season, hanging out in her cool NYC apartment. Steven Meisel’s photography brings a layer of magic to those seemingly everyday situations,” Stuart Vevers added. “Whilst Selena has a warmth that’s special – there is also an authenticity and realness to her that brings the campaign to life.”
