Is A Customized Selena Gomez Beauty Collection On Its Way?

Is Selena Gomez Creating Her Own Beauty Collection?
In the past few years, Selena Gomez has emerged as a major force in the fashion industry. The 27-year-old singer and actress has always had a great personal fashion sense, but working on big collections with top style brands like Coach, Puma, and more has let her influence in this arena shine. Now, word on the street is that the star is adding to her empire and working on her very own branded Selena Gomez beauty collection.
Though the star herself hasn’t yet spoken out about her intentions, WWD reports that Gomez has filed a trademark request in her name with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office to be used for a host of beauty items, including “fragrances, cosmetics, skin-care preparations, hair-care preparations, soaps, moisturizers and essential oils.”
The star is known for both her glam red carpet makeup looks and her radiant, natural beauty – so it makes sense that she would want to focus her potential line on skin- and hair-saving specialties! Plus, it would set her collection apart from other celebrity beauty entrepreneurs – like Rihanna, Kylie Jenner, and Lady Gaga – who are also killing it in the cosmetics market right now.
Longtime fans of the artist will recall that the pop star is no stranger to the beauty universe. She is a longtime haircare ambassador for the Pantene brand, letting her luxe hair looks steal the show. Plus, Gomez previously found great success releasing her own self-titled fragrance, Selena Gomez Eau de Perfume, in 2011 and then with a follow-up scent called Vivamore in 2013. We would especially love to see more delightful perfumes released under this potential self-branded label!
We will certainly keep our eyes peeled for any upcoming Selena Gomez beauty collection news – and report back to our readers!
