Ray-Ban Drops New Spring 2018 Eyewear Campaign

The Ray-Ban Spring 2018 collection is going to take you right into those warmer months ahead, full of adventure and new opportunities. Shot on location in Marfa, Texas, the new campaign images for the accessories brand are all about finding thrills in “Destination Everywhere”– all while models are showing off the stylish new frames of the season.

“The new campaign is about freedom and letting go,” photographer Steven Klein explained to WWD about the new imagery. “Living in turbulent times, one of the things that evokes that for many people is a road trip. This campaign represents that no matter what hardships come your way, you can be an individual, go on your own path and experience fun, optimism, creativity, love…everybody’s looking for their own personal freedom.”

As part of this collection, you will find one new pair of hexagonal shapes optical lenses, and three sunglasses styles in multiple colors for men and women: the double bridged Marshal, Aviator Evolve, and “overframe” lensed Blaze Wayfarer. As Steven Klein directed in the campaign, each eyewear design got a “persona,” which include “a musician and an artist; a young female film director; a social activist, and a young Jack Kerouac.”

You can now shop these designs any more from $163 to $188 on the brand’s website and in select retail locations.
