Pharrell Williams Reveals New Hiking Collection with Adidas Originals

In between designing a shoe for Chanel’s Colette tribute and getting N.E.R.D. back together for a song called “Lemon” with Rihanna, Pharrell Williams has also been busy on yet another stylish project. The star is dropping another highly-anticipated athletic line with Adidas Originals, starting on November 11.

The sporty and colorful “Pharrell Hiking” range is said to be inspired by the hiking culture of Los Angeles. It features layerable, utility-inspired garments that can work perfectly when journeying in the hills – or as street style.

Adidas calls the collection “a lighthearted reimagining of nostalgic [80s and 90s] sportswear designs, framed in the unique perspective of Pharrell Williams.”

Of course, no Pharrell collaboration would truly be complete without some truly wow-worthy kicks. That’s where his latest line of shoes comes in.

This collection’s HU Tennis Shoes and Hu NMD Trail sneakers feature multi-color knits with contrasting laces and graphic slogans down the front. We’re not really sure if you’d actually go hiking in a pair of these, but you could. Either way, they certainly make an incredible style statement. We predict that collectors will be snapping these up fast.

In addition to these colorful fashions and accessories, Pharrell is also dropping nature-inspired pieces as part of the collaboration’s full collection starting November 15.

You can expect to see artistically re-imagined camo prints on athletic wear for men and women as part of the Adidas Originals x Pharrell Hiking range. The essentials of this collection are hoodies, windbreakers, joggers, and sweats. These pieces look extra stylish when you mix edgy prints with basics, and layer for outdoor elements.
