Burberry is back with a daring new fragrance for men, and it is one that will help you transition from spring into the shining summer months ahead. The newly-launched Mr. Burberry Indigo Eau de Parfum is a modern 2018 update on the designer label’s 2016 original Mr. Burberry, which was inspired by the crispness of a sea breeze.
The brand calls Mr. Burberry Indigo “a new fragrance for a man of contrasts. Classic and contemporary. Sophisticated and sensual. Laid‑back with a rebellious attitude.” The soft, unique blend is comprised of top notes of lemon oil, rosemary, spearmint, and driftwood layered over a warm and earthy base. And it’s all inspired by a relaxing and enjoyable day at the beach, the perfect complement to the original.
Even the bottle design is a tribute to the label’s rich heritage: it represents the iconic navy blue Burberry trench coat that is such a timeless wardrobe staple. (You may recall that the first Mr. Burberry bottle was modeled after the black trench aesthetic.)
To capture the easy and breezy vibe of this fragrance, Burberry tapped actor and musician Josh Whitehouse to star in its latest campaign video. Captured by Alasdair McLellan on the British Kent coast, the visuals take us through a seaside getaway with beautiful scenery.
