Designer Virgil Abloh has just unveiled the Louis Vuitton Pre-Fall 2019 Men’s collection lookbook, an update to the Vocabulary According to Virgil Abloh clothing line. This new season’s range is all about combining the “cultural melting pot of Tokyo” inspiration with the effortlessly but undeniably cool street styles we all strive to sport.
“It’s clothing that you wear and don’t think twice about,” Abloh told Vogue. “It’s letting the savoir faire and the quality be the main signifiers and reasons to purchase.”

Abloh also explained that his vision for this collection was an “investigation” into luxury. Especially since with a designer label like Louis Vuitton, we crave high-fashion, luxurious detailing – but want a modern, livable style.
“It was a matter of, like, my call and response to what is luxury clothing?” the designer said. “You know, not fashion. So my investigation has been sort of like, what’s at the root of clothing in, like, a human sort of desire? I was infatuated by this idea of the great outdoors and then there’s a little bit of influence from sort-of muses like Jamiroquai.”
All of these influences combine for a standout addition to the label’s latest line.
