Louis Vuitton Is Releasing a Chic New Candle Collection

Do you love collecting luxurious designer fragrances? How about impulse-buying as many wax candles as humanly possible? If this sounds like you in a nutshell, the new collection of Louis Vuitton candles are sure to delight your senses. Two years after debuting in the women’s fragrance category, the popular designer label is launching four scented candles as part of its upscale home goods offerings.

According to Highsnobiety, these candles were envisioned as buildings with their windows open, with a “poetic breeze blowing in from the outside and gently lapping.”

The four fragrances that are going to be part of this launch include L’Air du Jardin (a rosebud scent), Île Blanche (warm sun and fresh cotton), Dehors Il Neige (fires during snowy winter evenings), and Feuilles d’Or (inspired by a walk through the forest). They are distinct scents, yet all natural, light, and airy – and not too overpowering. Just as our favorites are.

The four scents themselves have been created for Louis Vuitton by master perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud, and the candles are housed in minimalistic ceramic pots designed by Mark Newson.

Each scented candle comes in a handmade white ceramic pot, featuring a gold topper lid (which pulls double duty as a stylish coaster) and a stitched leather handle and stud fixture inspired by the brand’s classic handbags and luggage.

All together, these candles make up a sleek and cohesive collection, with each scent being distinguished by a different brightly-colored wick detail. The candles are priced at $185 each.
