Kate Moss is returning to Yves Saint Laurent after about ten years to be the face of the brand’s Spring/Summer 2018 collection. One look at her newly-revealed photo shoot images, and you’ll immediately understand why she still reigns supreme in the fashion world.
YSL creative director Anthony Vaccarello cast the 43-year-old supermodel in the brand’s sultry new campaign. Shot as striking black and white campaign images against the Modernist Villa Malaparte in Capri, Italy, the brand’s latest work give off a classic and retro feel.

Of course, also Kate sizzles in her latest ads.
In her photo shoot imagery, Kate wears the luxurious Spring-ready pieces, adorned with wispy black feathers and billowy, barely-there silks. She makes these elegant ensembles look effortless and wearable, which may be exactly why we’re dreaming of trying on these pieces ourselves.

If you recall, Saint Laurent showed its Spring/Summer 2018 collection under the Eiffel Tower during Paris Fashion Week. This romantic Parisian inspiration is everywhere.
A brand spokesperson explained that Kate Moss’ campaign is directly influenced by the 1960s, which we can clearly see. Specifically, this project is inspired by “the nefarious charm: of Jean-Luc Godard movies.” Additionally, the focus of the model’s photo shoot and short film series is to create “an atmosphere reminiscent of the French Nouvelle Vague.”
