Kaia Gerber has only just recently taken the modeling industry by storm, but she already has amazing relationships with major fashion brands. After making her catwalk debut last season, the 16-year-old daughter of Cindy Crawford has already walked in two Chanel shows. Now, she’s even trying her hand at designing – with Karl Lagerfeld. Talk about coming out swinging!
WWD reports that Kaia has created a capsule collection of “around-the-clock” ready-to-wear garments and accessories – including shoes, sunglasses, gloves, and jewelry – that is due out in September. “The line is described as blending Lagerfeld’s Parisian chic aesthetic and Gerber’s signature West Coast casual style,” the publication shares.

It seems like Kaia and Karl’s signature styles have been blending well, and that will surely make the finished pieces not only incredible, but truly unique.
“When Karl first told us his idea to collaborate with Kaia, we were all excited by the incredible potential and power of bringing their two worlds together,” Pier Paolo Righi, chief executive officer of Karl Lagerfeld, said in a press statement. “We have been working intensely over the last months with Kaia in LA and at our studio in Paris. It was exciting to see her clear vision, passion and engagement, and the collection will definitely inspire many young women.”
In addition to gushing over the upcoming Kaia Gerber Karl Lagerfeld lookbooks, there will be many others ways fashionistas will be able to engage with these designs.
This fall, the Kaia Gerber Karl Lagerfeld collection is going to be launched with a series of international events in Los Angeles, New York, and Paris. Then, the items will be shoppable at Karl Lagerfeld stores and on Karl.com.
