Can this world even handle a Jennifer Lopez Coach style team-up? Well, get ready: because it is really happening! The iconic 50-year-old singer and actress has been announced as the latest celebrity ambassador to the heritage fashion brand.
The star is set to make her official debut with a Spring 2020 season campaign shot by longtime Coach photographer, Juergen Teller. She is reportedly going to be repping Coach’s women’s ready-to-wear, shoes, and accessories. By way of announcement, the brand released a teaser black and white photo shoot image from Benjamin Rosser. In the snap, J.Lo is wearing a stylish classic trench coat and billowing silk scarf.
“Jennifer is so authentic,” Coach’s Creative Director Stuart Vevers said in a brand press release. “She’s determined and she’s an original who has followed her own path to do things her own way––she really embodies the attitude of Coach and our new campaign. She’s from New York like Coach, which creates another authentic connection with our heritage, and I’m particularly excited about bringing Jennifer and Juergen Teller together.”
Lopez is thrilled to be working with the New York-based fashion label, and she joins a star-studded family of Coach global ambassadors and recent campaign stars including Selena Gomez, Michael B. Jordan, Kate Moss, Yara Shahidi, Megan Thee Stallion and many more.
“I’m so excited for this collaboration with Coach. It is a timeless brand that I’ve always been a fan of, and the upcoming collection really speaks to my personal style––an uptown downtown mix,” she said in a statement. We’re certainly looking forward to seeing how this partnership plays out!
