H&M Announces Giambattista Valli Designer Collaboration

H&M‘s latest designer collaboration is here – and it’s a luxurious collection that somehow blends more affordable favorites with straight-from-the-runway couture. The recently-revealed H&M Giambattista Valli line is jam-packed with elegant Parisian-inspired womenswear and high-fashion menswear that range in price from around $18 to $649.

The collection features gowns and evening wear full of frilly ruffles, stylish shoes, statement-making jewelry and hair accessories, button-up shirts, tailored suits, pretty lingerie, logo socks and more.

“I am excited about this collaboration: H&M gives me the opportunity to bring my vision of style and my celebration of beauty to a wider audience,” designer Giambattista Valli said in a press statement. “The goal is to share my love for beauty and to be able to be part of everyone’s “happy moments”, to help create love stories all around the world.”

By way of launching the collection, top fashion stars and popular young Hollywood celebrities wore some of their favorite pieces from theH&M Giambattista Valli range to the amfAR gala in Cannes.

Stars like Kendall Jenner, Chris Lee (Li Yuchun), Chiara Ferragni, H.E.R., Bianca Brandolini d’Adda, and Ross Lynch showed off their picks from the high-end collection while walking the event’s red carpet with designer Giambattista Valli and H&M’s Creative Advisor Ann-Sofie Johansson.

“We are thrilled to collaborate with Giambattista Valli. He is the undisputed master of haute couture with a knack for the memorable silhouette,” Johansson said. “To be able to bring his signature styles to our customers is a dream come true. We can’t wait to see their reactions to this beautiful collection.”

A special selection from the H&M Giambattista Valli collaboration will be available online and in 12 select stores starting on May 25. The full line is set to launch worldwide on November 7, 2019.
