In Harry Styles‘ first-ever Gucci campaign photo shoot, he posed alongside some adorable puppies (and a few chickens) at a casual North London chip shop. All dressed to the nines in the label’s hottest suits and must-have menswear accessories, of course. Now, for the Gucci Cruise 2019 Tailoring photo series, the 24-year-old singer has been photographed in the beautiful and historic Villa Lante, Italy – located north of the city of Rome – along with some unbearably cute piglets, lambs, and goats.
“For Cruise 2019, the young Englishman relocates, now with more pets – a lamb, goat and piglet – to the Mannerist, Renaissance gardens of the 16th-century Italian villa,” the brand said about the images in a press statement. “The campaign playfully positions Harry Styles’ personal, urban take on the Gucci tailoring wardrobe amongst the classic, stylized landscape of the gardens, where fountains, grottoes and mazes characterize the ancient surroundings.”
The performer recently wrapped his smash-hit Harry Styles – Live On Tour run, where he brought to life another colorful, ornate, and dramatic suit (most of them Gucci) as part of his nightly stage styles. These photos, shot by photographer Glen Luchford, capture the artist in his true fashion element: wearing the finest retro-inspired clothing, going all out with luxurious accessories, and making it all modern and current.
These animals may not know how lucky they are to be starring in a high-fashion campaign along with one of the world’s top recording artists, but we can certainly appreciate the art at work here.
