When it comes to mixing opulence with street style looks, Gucci knows best. In recent years, the heritage designer label has become known for its eye-catching mixed patterns and boundary-pushing garments – and the Gucci Pre-Fall 2018 collection is no exception.
The brand just unveiled a massive sneak peek at what’s ahead for the coming year, and we can expect some big and bold new debuts. You’ll immediately notice a ton of color, an emphasis on layering, and a sophisticated take on luxury city streetwear.
For its pre-fall ’18 unveiling, Gucci “presented a big lineup of 82 looks, which were shot by photographer Peter Schlesinger in different Roman locations, including the aula magna of the Dental Hospital George Eastman and the Hotel Mediterraneo, all previously used by Dario Argento for his horror movies,” according to WWD.

We love that this cinematic-inspired collection includes practically every type of garment and accessory you could dream of. Leather jackets? Embroidered bomber jackets? Logo-emblazoned handbags? Of course, all of these in-demand pieces are highlighted in the collection’s bright red lookbook.
But the line also features trendy tracksuits, stylish windbreakers, and chiffon dresses we would love to live in next fall. Plus, Gucci debuted brand-new tunic silhouettes, and billowy caftan-style pieces.
It’s quite a lot to absorb, but this collection is truly one to remember.
