Gucci Debuts Home Decor Collection at Maxfield LA

This fall, Gucci took a major leap and expanded the brand into home decor. You can now shop luxe velvet pillows, eye-catching serving plates, candles, and more embroidered home pieces emblazoned with the brand’s bold and eclectic design patterns.

But over this weekend, several celebrities and fashion influencers – including Demi Moore, Scout Willis, Rowan Blanchard, Juno Temple, and more – came together to celebrate the Gucci Home official decor launch event at Maxfield, the luxury Los Angeles boutique.

The party was a fashion moment in and of itself. Gucci shared behind-the-scenes photos of these stars wearing the label’s latest designs while taking in the new interiors collection at Maxfield. 1970s-inspired colors, silk and velvet textures, and festive prints ruled the occasion – which is only fitting considering the home line’s extravagant aesthetic.

While the evening wasn’t about the outfits specifically, the label really does want shoppers to think of the home decor items as an extension of their wardrobe. The Gucci home pieces reportedly reflect Creative Director Alessandro Michele’s “notion that these pieces are simply another way to dress in Gucci.”

Many of the patterns and art prints featured on the new home goods are pulled from past collections’ fabrics. In fact, you may recognize the iconic bee — a symbol first introduced into Gucci ready-to-wear collections in the 1970s— was taken from the archives to be a part of modern lines.

We love spotting these details elsewhere too, like on Rowan’s purse or Demi’s stylish briefcase.

If you can’t visit the Maxfield in Los Angeles yourself to party like the stars, don’t fret! You can still shop Gucci’s recently launched kitchenware, embroidered chairs, and wallpaper designs on the brand’s website. Smaller items like incense kits and decorative candles make the perfect gift for fashionistas this holiday season too!
