The Gucci Hallucination Collection is officially combining classical art with wearable street style fashions in a bold new way. This new line continues the luxury designer label’s ongoing collaboration with Spanish artist Ignasi Monreal. The artist brings his Gucci Spring/Summer 2018 art campaign to life by printing scenes from his digital paintings onto colorful and cozy tees and long sleeve sweatshirts.
Artistic design influences evident in this collection include John Everett Millais’ “Ophelia” (1851-1852) and Hieronymous Bosch’s “The Garden of Earthly Delights” (1503–1515). But of course, they’re presented with the most modern of style reinventions.
These online-exclusive capsule collection pieces are extremely limited edition: not only is the brand only releasing 200 of each unisex t-shirt ($790) and 100 of each sweatshirt ($1,490) design, but each item will feature a numbered label.
