Do you love fun pop-up installations and great designer home decorating finds? A new Gucci Décor temporary store in Milan, Italy combines both factors for an unforgettable shopping experience. The label just announced the opening of their latest pop-up boutique, which puts its striking and unmistakable lifestyle and home pieces on full display in an elaborately-designed space.
“Spread over two floors in 19 Via Santo Spirito, the boutique showcases new releases and established pieces from the Gucci Décor collection of furniture, furnishings and decorative items designed by Alessandro Michele,” the brand shared in a statement on its website. “Inaugurated during the furniture fair Salone del Mobile 2019, the temporary store will remain open until June.”
If you can’t make it out to Milan personally, you can still test out these incredible design pieces in your own home. How, you ask? Through the designer brand’s new phone app, which allows users to digitally test-drive their new pieces and see how they’d look in your existing home space.
“The Gucci App celebrates Gucci Décor with a duo of special functions,” the brand said. “An augmented reality technology enables customers to see what pieces from the Gucci Décor Collection will look like in their own spaces, and in another, users can discover spots around Milan—including Richard Ginori, Piazza Duomo and Piazza Affari—where Gucci Décor products become virtual sculptures on screen together with a story about the piece and location.”
