Do you love the minimalistic makeup styles from Glossier, but wish the brand had a little bit more color in its cosmetics range for you to play around with? Launching today (finally!) is Glossier Play, a division of the viral Internet beauty brand that’s dedicated to delivering the “dialed-up beauty extras” customers have been requesting most.
The new Glossier Play line is launching with four color cosmetics products and two tools to make your application a breeze. According to Glossier, this is an “extension of their mission to democratize beauty and bring a sense of freedom to how you look, act, and feel.”
First up there’s Colorslide, a pigmented gel eyeliner pencil that comes in 24 beautiful shades at $15 a pop. Then, there are six shades of mega-watt shine Vinylic Lip lacquers that come in a $16 cushiony click pen. (The launch shades of Vinylic Lip include Bank, Blow-Up, Disco, Casino, Baby, and Pony.) Next up is a pearly highlighter formula called Niteshine: you can build up any of these four shades to give you a remarkable glow. (The liquid formula currently comes in shades Deep Copper, Molten Umber, Platinum Rose, and Pale Pearl.) Rounding out the colorful options is four debut shades of Glitter Gelée a $14 jewel-toned glitter gel that you can wear anywhere you need a little sparkle. (Colors include Phantasm, Bijoux Bijoux, Glass Bonsai, and Firewalk.)
As for the beauty tools, Glossier Play is launching with the The Detailer, a $6 silicone tip and wand created to make Glitter Gelée application even more precise, and The Blade, a $4 transparent barrel pencil sharpener perfectly designed for keeping Colorslide eyeliners looking perfectly (and working even better.)
To experience the whole set in one go, you can pick up The Playground, a discounted bundle ($60) which features your choice of one of all of the above products.
