Rihanna really went all out with this one! The first Fenty fashion collection, “Release 5-19,” made its grand debut ahead of its upcoming May 29 launch date at a special pop-up shop in Paris, France. Soon after, the star revealed all of the items in a fierce cookbook to showcase all of the great outfits.
This clothing line, created with LVMH‘s fashion house, features a complete range of ready-to-wear, shoes, accessories, and eyewear that bring the 31-year-old music sensation’s killer street style to life. All of the luxury-priced fashion items will range from $200 to $1,100.
As we can expect from the trendsetting icon, her lookbook and corresponding campaign images (shot by Glen Luchford) feature a diverse cast of stylish models, notably including 67-year-old model JoAni Johnson.
“Women are forces of this earth. We are multifaceted, complex, vulnerable yet bulletproof, and FENTY speaks to all of our intricacies,” Rihanna previously shared in a press statement. “Some days I want to be submissive, many days I’m completely in charge and most days I feel like being both… so it was imperative that we created a line versatile enough to embrace and celebrate us in that way. The collections are easily worn together and meant to be staples in our wardrobe. I’m just hyped to see people in my clothes, man.”
