What are your favorite Dr. Seuss books? Those iconic childhood memories are ready to come to life in the upcoming Dr. Seuss Enterprises x Kilburn Live event, “The Dr. Seuss Experience,” which is headed to Toronto this fall. A 15,000 square-foot exhibit with multiple photo-ready rooms and interactive installations inspired by Oh the Places You’ll Go!, The Cat In the Hat, and more timeless classics is taking over the city’s Square One location.
“This Seuss-tacular sensory spectacle takes you on an awe-inspiring journey through nine different, visually stunning Dr. Seuss worlds,” according to the event’s ticketing website. “You can swing among Truffula Trees from The Lorax, make your way through a brilliant balloon-filled maze from Oh, the Places You’ll go!, stroll through towering clovers listening for a Who from Horton Hears a Who!, and become a circus ringmaster from If I Ran the Circus!. Join us and meet the characters, live the stories, and experience Dr. Seuss like never before in this once in a lifetime experience not to be missed!”
So far, there’s no exact closing date set for the Toronto exhibit, but there is buzz that a United States leg of the installation’s tour has been planned. Look out for Seattle, Boston, and Houston versions to come, with even more additions in each subsequent city.
Tickets go on sale September 13 for the October 26 opening in Toronto’s Square One.
