The 11th Annual Roots Picnic in Philadelphia is bringing together music, podcasts, fashion, and lifestyle content for this year’s festival. The 2018 event will include multiple panels featuring the best and brightest in their respective fields – hosted by Dave Chapelle and feature star-studded performances by artists like Lil Uzi VertDirty Projectors2 ChainzBrandyThe Diplomats, and more.

“Headlining the panels this year will be a special “Barrier Breakers” panel featuring names such as Bozoma Saint John (Chief Brand Officer, Uber), Chaka Pilgrim (Head of Film & TV, Shawn Carter Enterprises), Jemele Hill (Chief Correspondent, ESPN’s The Undefeated), Amber Grimes (Artist & Label Marketing, Spotify) and Anowa Adjah (CEO, Anowa Adjah Works). Other panels include an Art & Fashion panel featuring Timothy Anne (Cultural Historian and Museum Specialist), Kerby Jean-Raymond (Founder & Creative Director, Pyer Moss), Distortedd (Multimedia Artist) & Tiffany Reid (Senior Fashion Editor, Cosmopolitan Magazine) and a “Keynote of Change” Conversation featuring acclaimed motivational speaker Wallo267 and Fox TV host Quincy Harris,” according to a press release.

The festival will also include fashion pop-ups, and an exclusive capsule collection from lifestyle clothing brand, VLone, which will be creating limited edition Roots Picnic merchandise for festival attendees.
