Essie Collaborates with Reem Acra On a Bridal Nail Polish Collection
Searching for the perfect nail polish shade to match your favorite outfit, but tracking down your dream wedding day manicure can be even more daunting. After all, you want something classic, clean, and elegant as to not distract from your bridal style – but you also want your tips to be in tip-top shape for those ring selfies. The struggle is real. Or it was, until Essie collaborated on a dreamy, bridal-ready nail polish collection with designer Reem Acra.
“In all my designs I want to bring an element of magic,” the designer told Brides. “This Essie gel couture wedding collection is about the intimate moment shared with the bride and the women closest to her—her grandmother, her mother, her dearest friends.” There’s really a personal, expertly-designed touch in every shade.
Nobody wants chipped nail polish showing up in their wedding photos, so that’s something both brands made sure to keep in mind.

“The line is not only stunning, but also practical,” she added. “As someone who works with their hands as part of my craft, I was impressed by the long-lastingness of the range and the precision of the application. This attention to detail is part of my design DNA, so the fit was natural.”

As part of this line, you’ll find Picture Perfect, a pearl-infused white inspired by the designer’s own childhood jewelry box; a lucky blue called Getting Intricate; You’re Golden, the brand’s signature metallic gold; a rose gold called Handmade of Honor; a refreshing pink called Moments to Mrs.; and a passionate and energetic red called Forever Family. Each shade in the Essie Gel Couture Wedding Collection by Reem Acra will sell for $12 a bottle when the collection hits shelves in March 2018.

This collaboration was over a year in the making, with everyone involved working to make the color range perfect. “First, I started with a story, my signature colors and fabric swatches to ground us in where we wanted to go with the shades,” the designer shared with the publication. “[The collection] really brings to life the intimate details of getting reading for the big day and I wanted to ensure it came to life in a Reem Acra way.”

“Whether you’re a bride, bridesmaid, mother of the bride or a guest, this breathtaking longwear collection presents a must-have color for everyone,” Essie added on Instagram. “With shades fit for royalty, Reem Acra brings her magic to your fingertips!”
We can’t wait until we can test-drive these for ourselves!
