Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are making their glamorous fashion brand Elizabeth and James even more accessible. The 32-year-old twins have announced that their luxury label will be coming soon exclusively to affordable Kohl’s big box stores nationwide.
“Our vision for Elizabeth and James is to deliver a lifestyle brand that offers women access to premium fashion at an affordable price without sacrificing quality and fit,” Mary-Kate said in a press release. “Kohl’s is the right partner to take our brand into a new era, while staying true to the high-quality, fashion-forward designs that our loyal brand enthusiasts expect from us. Leveraging Kohl’s extensive store network and digital platform will also allow us to reach a much larger audience than we have in the past and for this we are particularly excited.
Ashley echoed her sister’s assertion that Kohl’s is the best fit for their fashion brand’s future.
“Kohl’s is doing a great job with innovation and thinking differently about omnichannel retail,” she said in the release. “We have always seen Elizabeth and James speaking to a much larger audience and this new business model with Kohl’s will allow us to achieve that. Mary-Kate and I are excited to work with them building out additional lifestyle categories and curating spaces that will bring a new shopping experience to our customer.”
The stylish sisters have also released sketches to preview details of what their Elizabeth and James Kohl’s designs will look like. While exact product descriptions and price points have not yet been revealed, you can reportedly expect them to share a similar price range like other Kohl’s fashion brands, like LC by Lauren Conrad and Simply Vera by Vera Wang.
By November 2019, you can expect to shop the exclusive debut Elizabeth and James Kohl’s collection in 1,150 retails stores and online.
While Kohl’s will be the exclusive retailer of the brand’s clothing, accessories, and handbags, it appears that Elizbeth and James beauty products and fragrances will still be available at the high-end department stores and beauty counters you typically find them.— Richard Editorial Staff
