If you caught our runway recap from the Dior Fall 2018 runway show at Paris Fashion Week, you know that the designer label made a big statement with the season’s collection. The Parisian showcase was themed around the year 1968: a time period full of political and cultural revolutions. So you know that to go along with the daring garments, there also had to be some memorable Dior makeup looks – and the beauty team sure delivered.

Crafted by Peter Phillips, the Creative and Image director of Christian Dior Makeup, the show’s runway makeup looks were all at once daring and easy to re-create yourself at home.

First of all, bold eye looks and neon eyeliner colors reigned supreme on this runway. Models wore doubly-lined lids in electrifying colors like yellow, pink, and orange, that coordinated with the tinted sunglasses designs they were wearing for the show.

“I wanted to create a look in which color comes to the fore and sets off the different hues of the sunglasses which are everywhere in this collection,” Peter Philips said, explaining how he used the new range of Diorshow On Stage Liners to make the DiorColorQuake frames.

With a colorful eye look so powerful, the Dior makeup team made sure to keep the rest of the models’ faces neutral. But that doesn’t mean boring or plain! Using the brand new Forever Undercover full-coverage foundation and concealer, each girl’s complexion was perfected and mattified. Topped with the Diorskin Mineral Nude Bronze ou Glow, every skin tone glowed.

To keep the models’ brows looking groomed but natural, the team lightly shaped with Diorshow Brow Styler and filled in with Diorshow Bold Brow. To finish off the face, pouts were amplified by adding a swipe of Dior Addict Lip Maximizer to the lips.

Love this show’s looks? To copy them in your own life, focus on making your colorful eyeliner the standout statement feature!
