A musical icon is making her mark on the beauty world – in a truly iconic way, of course. Legendary performer Diana Ross has created her first-ever fragrance, Diamond Diana, debuting on HSN this December.
“This personal fragrance is inspired by the powerful connection between music and sensual memories,” Diana shared about her new product. “Sensual scent vibrations are carried from heart to heart like music. Everyone should have a diamond!”
The artist has been very hands-on in the design process, from the scent itself to the faux diamond bottle and luxe velvet packaging. Of course, that means every feature of the product is dripping in luxury, with real 24k gold dust on the label embossing.
HSN describes the fragrance as “modern, with a gender-free spirit. The fragrance is alluringly memorable creating a new story each time it is worn.” The network is excited to welcome the legend to their on-air programming to share her fragrance and career’s worth of stories with viewers.
“It is an absolute honor to welcome Diana Ross to the HSN family and provide her with a platform to share not only her new fragrance, but the stories that have laid the foundation for her brilliant career,” Carmen Bauza, the chief merchandising officer of HSN, told WWD. “We look forward to having Ms. Ross share this incredible journey with our viewers.”
So what does this perfume actually smell like? Fragrantica reports that the fragrance is composed of top notes of crisp greens, mandarin orange, bergamot, lemon, and apricot, with a heart of exotic spice blend, coriander, orange blossom, jasmine, sandalwood, and black rose. The base notes include camber, musk, incense, vanilla, and vetiver. AKA, it’s heavenly, just like Diana’s voice.
The product’s name and launch timing goes perfectly with Diana’s latest album release. Diamond Diana: The Legacy Collection, a 15-song collection created from the artist’s personal favorite tracks was released digitally on November 17.
Diamond Diana by Diana Ross fragrances will be available from $75-$95 exclusively on HSN starting on December 5.
