At one point in your life, you have probably admired David Beckham‘s expertly-groomed scruff, or marveled at his perfectly-styled quiff. Well now, you can be one step closer to achieving his rugged-yet-chic look yourself. The soccer star has collaborated with L’Oreal on his very own men’s grooming collection called House 99 – and you’ll be able to shop it soon.
“I’m so excited to finally share House 99 with everyone around the world!” David shared in a press release. “For me, grooming is not only about how you look, but how you feel. It’s about being comfortable, trying new things, and shaping your next look. I created House 99 to give people the inspiration as well as the right products to experiment and feel completely at home doing so. House 99 is here to support men, to give them the tools they need to create whatever look they are going for. Welcome to the house.”

So why “house,” and why the number 99? As a press statement notes, “the word ‘house’ reflects David’s goal to build an inclusive community of grooming aficionados, to share style tips and recommendations in order to conquer every look and inspire new creations,’ while the number 99, which he has tattooed on his hand, marks a momentous year in both his personal life and career. He married Victoria, his eldest son, Brooklyn was born, and Manchester United won the treble.” So, it was a pretty memorable year, for a variety of different reasons!
Now, the sports star is inviting fans into that excitement – by re-creating his routine in their own homes.
The David Beckham House 99 collection features hairspray, pomade, gel, beard oil, and more luxurious haircare products for men. They are all formulated with healthy and nourishing ingredients like quinoa and spirulina – which honestly sound good enough to eat.
The complete debut David Beckham House 99 line will launch first at Harvey Nichols in the UK starting February 1. In the United States, the products exclusively with Ulta on March 4. Then, expect the label in 19 more countries internationally.
This is definitely a line to look out for!— Richard Editorial Staff
