ColourPop Cosmetics has quickly become one of our favorite brands for affordable yet high-quality makeup. From their matte lippies to their brow pencils, eyeshadows, and more, the brand has consistently delivered a great mix of everyday essentials and colorful trends. Up until now, the cosmetics company has been a little lacking in the skin product categories though, only just recently launching their concealer shades. Now, ColourPop foundation is on its way – and the new range was worth the wait.
That’s because the label is launching the No Filter foundation collection with 42 shades which will retail at only $12 a bottle.
Dropping exclusively on ColourPop.com this June 14 at 10 AM PST, you can expect a lightweight, medium- to full-coverage finish from this glam new blend.
“We’ve worked on these formulas for over a year, continuing to shift the paradigm on what luxury looks like by offering value and product that is unrivaled,” ColourPop co-founder and president Laura Nelson told PopSugar about the launch. “Foundation was one of the most highly requested products from our customers, so it was vital we get this launch right and offer an expansive range of 42 shades. As our customer base is world wide an extremely diverse shade range was one of our top priorities.”
For this foundation launch, the brand took a cue from those earlier-mentioned concealer shades, and really worked on getting those undertones right straight out of the gate.
“We wanted to create a shade range that was inclusive of all women and men, from extremely fair to deep dark and everything in between,” Nelson added. “Following the success of our concealer shade range, we wanted to go out the gate with 42 shades distributed evenly in six categories: fair, light, medium, dark, medium dark, and deep dark. From there, we have both neutral cool and neutral warm undertones.”
In addition to the ColourPop foundation launch, the brand is also expanding the No Filter collection to include No Filter Sheer Pressed Powders and No Filter Loose Setting Powders to finish off your look. These are also set to launch on June 14, and will sell for $9 each. Combined with the brand’s No Filter Concealer, these are a made-in-heaven combination.
