The newly-unveiled Coach 1941 Resort 2020 collection is the perfect mix of fashion decades and genres. Not only are the season’s blend of menswear and womenswear pieces perfect for strategic layering – read, stretching out new looks in between season – but they bring together lots of clever pop culture moments.
The brand’s creative director Stuart Vevers was inside by two of his favorite iconic 90s movies – American Beauty and Metropolitan – for this new range, and worked in some silhouette references to the currently-trending 70s styles. The outfits presented in the Coach Resort 2020 lookbook aren’t 90s film costumes or elaborate retro get-ups, but they channel some of fashion’s biggest style resurgences in one space.
