Chloé has officially dropped the latest #chloeGIRLS campaign, and the fashion brand is really up to something different here. First of all, the latest bohemian-style Chloé Girls line features an exclusive capsule collection for German-based fashion e-retailer mytheresa.com.
In timing with this launch, Chloé also created a three-part video series called “Runaway Baby.” Each minute-long short film by filmmaker Lola Bessis stars Klara Kristin and India Menuez. They play a young writer (named Chloé!) and painter who meet at a remote cottage out in the country. These artistic films are meant “to convey they emotions associated with a collection.”
The standout pieces in this line include retro-inspired octagonal sunglasses, flared trousers, and boho-chic printed silks. All of these garments and more are prominently featured as costumes in the “Runaway Baby” videos, where they help tell the girls’ own stories. Talk about a creative way to display a collection!
In addition to the MyTheresa capsule, Chloé has also unveiled the Spring 2018 designs that are now available for pre-order. The brand has described their latest looks as “sophisticated bohemian” and “contemporary” with “an edge of military cool.”
We totally see this inspiration, too. Suede purses, studded ankle boots, flowing maxi dresses, and wool-accented garments compose this luxury womenswear line. We wish we could start wearing some of these pieces now, as they are great layering items which help in transitioning your wardrobe between seasons.
