You may love the Aveda brand for all of their innovations in haircare. But one of the beauty brand’s earliest products – the Aveda Cherry Almond formulation, first introduced in 1978 – is now back and better than ever. The scent has been discontinued for about a decade now, but has returned as a new line of shampoos and conditioners.
“Did you know the #CherryAlmond aroma has been part of the Aveda world since the early days? Now it’s BACK as a brand new Softening Shampoo and Conditioner!” the brand shared on Instagram. “The aroma is the same, and the new formula is perfect for normal to dry hair. It’s color safe too, because you CAN have everything.”
Ahead of this new launch, Aveda had a 2,000 person waiting list for the product, according to PopSugar, and officially restocks today, July 27.
This blend is crafted from coconut oil and shea butter, which hydrate your locks while cleansing. As an added bonus, the vegan and cruelty-free hair product packaging meets Aveda’s ongoing standards for improving the environment.
“More than 85% of our skin care and hair styling bottles and jars contain 100% post consumer recycled materials,” the brand shared. “We’re always working to minimize our packaging and maximize our use of recyclable and post consumer recycled materials, because caring for the world we live in and minimizing waste is part of the #avedamission.”
You can now shop the Aveda Cherry Almond Softening Shampoo and Conditioners for $17-$54 on the brand’s website.
Be sure to get your hands on a bottle or two before they surely sell out again!
