When it comes to your wedding day style, there are about a million different options you may be dreaming of wearing. Short and flirty dresses that are perfect for destination or beach weddings. Traditional long white gowns, embellished with embroidered lace or sparkling beading. High-fashion jumpsuits that make a statement. Or sexy illusion cut-outs that add a little drama to your regal gown. Bridal designer Alexandra Grecco has a style for all of the above dreams and more.
The newly-launched Wild Honey collection, which just made its New York Bridal Fashion Week debut, is inspired by classic French fashion and “Sixties chic” references, like bell sleeves and ruffle details throughout the designs. The collection has many of the traditional elements that brides crave, but with modern updates evident everywhere, from the trendy appliqués to the fresh color selection. (Of course, the line features dresses in white, cream, and eggshell – but there are also light mint variations for an unexpected touch!)
“I’ve always been inspired by the free-spirited silhouettes of the ’60s and wanted to find a way to incorporate those playful elements into our collection this season,” designer Alexandra Grecco shared in a press statement. The designer’s own brand aesthetic is full of unique hand-embroidery. This collection features embroidered designs that are bolder than her past collections, but are still definitively feminine and soft.
This season, Alexandra Grecco is also getting into more bridal accessories by releasing her first ever range of veils. They are all hand-embroidered with a variety of stunning motifs – and make for the perfect statement-making topper.
