Are vibrant neon fashions swinging back into style? The Adriana Sahar Spring 2019 collection presentation at the Style Fashion Week suggests that a wash of daring colors are on their way to us soon! The 26-year-old designer’s day-glow runway event all went down at the Manhattan Center in NYC this September season of New York Fashion Week, where we were captivated by a dizzying sea of rainbow brights.
Electric green hues, baby blues, and traffic-stopping orange colors took over the catwalk during this season’s showcase. The sexy showing included several garments in trendy camo-inspired prints and bold plaids, in the form of body-con dresses and cute mini skirts. Color-blocking also reigned supreme throughout the collection. Many pieces were accented with equally bright neon fishnet tights, which added an extra layer of party-perfect charm to these ensembles.
If it seems like Sahar’s designs are like a wild dream come to life, that’s exactly how the designer herself feels about getting to create her runway pieces.
“I make clothes. I get to do what I love for a living and make whatever comes to my mind at any moment,” she shared with CR Fashion Book. “I also get to touch lives. I’ve had people send me messages from all over the world saying I inspired them in some way. I was 13 when I started sewing, and now I have a career in fashion design and people recognize my clothing on Instagram and in real life. Living out your dreams is a huge blessing.”
