Abercrombie & Fitch isn’t a brand traditionally known for inclusivity. In fact, the popular mall brand has previously come under fire for overtly praising its own distinctly exclusive and elitist practices. But it seems that a new era is upon us, and the retailer is making changes to keep up. Enter: the Abercrombie Everybody Collection, a unisex children’s line with gender-neutral sizing and broader color schemes.
The brand explained that through their market research, they found that “many customers, when shopping across genders, do not necessarily want to be restricted to certain styles and colors.”
That’s why this launch features an entire range of mix-and-matchable garments, accessories, and shoes, for kids ages 5-14.

“Parents and their kids don’t want to be confined to specific colors and styles, depending on whether shopping for a boy or a girl. Our Everybody Collection is one assortment, in one size run, that covers the trends we are seeing in both color and style,” brand president of Abercrombie & Fitch and Abercrombie Kids, Stacie Andersen said.
Of course, these pieces are still filled with personality, trendiness, and that iconic A&F signature. Featuring must-have styles like camo print jackets, logo-print hoodies, and slip-on slide sandals, the Abercrombie Everybody Collection is directly inspired by the Instagram-worthy street styles even us adults can’t stop gushing over.
Luckily, this launch isn’t just a one-time deal. The more inclusive range is set to be a recurring collection being integrated into the brand’s “summer and the back-to-school seasons.” We can’t wait to see what happens next!
